A great alternative
Of course wed all love to stay in a house overlooking a canal in the center of Amsterdam. But there are a few snags, especially if you are traveling with a family, or if you are on a tight budget, or if you are planning a longer visit and need to park your car. If that sounds familiar, we offer an excellent alternative at our comfortable home in the pleasant town of Badhoevedorp. A 20-minute bus ride or a 30-minute cycle takes you straight into the heart of the city, where you can enjoy the hustle and bustle before returning to the tranquility of your lodgings, set in superb surroundings near the Ringvaart waterway and the woodlands of the Amsterdamse Bos. The bus stops opposite our house.
Our comfortable rooms both have their own entrance, giving you the privacy you deserve. We recently renovated our entire home and refurnished the guestrooms in a fresh and modern style. Because our lodgings are open all year round, the heating and insulation are excellent. The new bathrooms alone would make your stay worthwhile. Not to mention the breakfast, which will be prepared by Sacha, who also runs her own catering company (need we say more?). Full dinners are also available on request, and if you need any sightseeing tips or other assistance, we will point you in the right direction in English, French, German or Dutch.
